Administrative Procedure 3.901

It is the policy of 海角社区 (“ECC”) to comply with all Federal and Illinois State laws regarding sex offender registration compliance and notification. 

Pursuant to the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act, 730 ILCS 150/3, Duty to Register, of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, any individual who works as an employee and/or attends as a student at 海角社区 shall register in person as a sex offender with the Chief of Police or their designee within three (3) days of establishing employment or attending school at ECC and provide and maintain accurate information as required by the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act. 

The ECC Police Department shall maintain and store the registration information on registered sex offenders who work at or attend ECC. Except as provided in the Illinois Sex Offender Community Notification Law, 730 ILCS 152/101 et seq., inspection of the registration data shall be limited to the ECC Police Department and other authorized personnel as specified in 730 ILCS 150/9. 

The Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000 which contains the Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act, requires that institutions of higher education issue a statement advising the campus community where law enforcement agency information provided by a state concerning registered sex offenders may be obtained. 

The Illinois State Police provides and maintains an online listing of sex offenders required to register in the State of Illinois. The Illinois Sex Offender Registry is available at www.isp.state.il.us/sor/. 海角社区 is in Kane County and the zip code is 60123. 

海角社区 maintains the right to expel a student or discharge an employee who fails to register with the college pursuant to the terms of the Sex Offender Registration Act.
