The Elgin Master Chorale unites with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra for this landmark performance of Ludwig van Beethoven’s deeply moving work that unfolds as an emotional journey with shifting moments of intensity to passages of soaring beauty. Beethoven crafts a world that feels both monumental and personal, inviting listeners into a shared experience of triumph. This culminating event of the 80th anniversary season brings together two of the region’s leading ensembles for an unforgettable musical statement.
