Phlebotomy Program Admissions

Admissions Procedures

All candidates must submit an official high school transcript or GED scores and official transcripts from other colleges/universities attended.

The Phlebotomy Program has a rolling application process; students are admitted in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Students are encouraged to apply at least a month before the start of a new semester.

Requirements

Proof of high school diploma and one of the following:

  • Reading: grade of C or better in RDG 091 or LTC 099, or satisfaction of other placement criteria

Application Process

  1. If you have never taken a credit class at ECC, you must complete an ECC  before submitting this Health Professions Application. Get more information on how to apply.)
  2. Complete the Health Professions Application.

 

Note: Health professions programs require criminal background checks, drug testing, and specific medical requirements, including updated vaccinations. Students who demonstrate a positive background check or positive drug test will be denied admission to health professions programs. Students who demonstrate a positive background check or positive drug test while enrolled in health professions programs will be dismissed.
